Lauren Strasburger

Charleston Family Law Attorney

Lauren Strasburger was born in Greensboro, North Carolina. A lifelong sports enthusiast, she is passionate about athletics and values spending quality time with her family.

Lauren attended Colorado State University on a full athletic scholarship, where she competed as a Division I tennis player. Throughout her collegiate career, she held the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions, served as team captain her senior year, and graduated in 2009 ranked 10th in all-time wins in Colorado State Women’s Tennis history. During her undergraduate years, she also dedicated time to volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2009.

Following graduation, Lauren continued to share her love of the sport by training and coaching high-level junior tennis athletes. Her experience as a competitive player translated into a successful coaching career, where she inspired and developed the next generation of athletes. Training and coaching athletes taught Lauren how to communicate clearly and effectively, and helped her develop a strong ability to work with people from all backgrounds.

Dedicated Family Law Attorney

Lauren later pursued her legal education at Charleston School of Law, graduating in 2024. During her time there, she demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to advocacy. She gained hands-on experience working as a law clerk at a family law firm and served as President of the Child Advocacy and Family Law Society from 2022 to 2024. Under her leadership, the organization was honored as “Organization of the Year.” She also earned the CALI Award in the Children and the Law Seminar. Lauren is especially passionate about family law and is dedicated to supporting individuals and families as they navigate some of life’s most difficult transitions.
